A police chief has been suspended for 3 months after having a physical altercation with one of his officers on Nov. 9 2023 in a Jersey Shore town. Sgt. William Major was investigating a crash involving a suspected drunk driver. Chief Leonard Guida, who was off-duty, can be heard berating the sergeant about his uniform. According to the bodycam footage, the chief grabs the sergeant first, which then prompts a scuffle between the two officers. Sgt. William Major shoves the chief onto the hood of a police car, the pair then start verbally sparring until the situation is diffused. Whilst Chief Guida has been suspended, Sgt. William Major is back on the job. Welcome to the BP CAST channel, one of the prominent platforms on YouTube for informative and educational content related to law enforcement.
