Please like, comment, and SHARE! 🙏 🔍 Episode Overview: At about 11:10 p.m. on April 7, 2025, Hoboken Police Officers Matthew Bonnano and John Rodriguez were patrolling near Sixth and Harrison Streets. They saw a Honda strike a parked car on Sixth Street. The Honda’s front passenger side was badly damaged. After notifying dispatch, the officers approached the driver and passengers. Officer Bonnano immediately smelled alcohol. He identified the driver as Jackeline Fuentesluna and asked her to step out. Fuentesluna said she had two drinks. Suspecting she was impaired, the officers asked her to perform field sobriety tests. Sergeant Roary Miller and another officer arrived to assist. Fuentesluna first tried the eye test, then the walk-and-turn test. She appeared not to understand the instructions and could not complete it. Based on the crash, her admission that she had been drinking, and her failed tests, officers arrested her for driving under the influence. A search of the Honda turned up open alcohol containers. The car was impounded for 12 hours under John’s Law. Officer Rose Kanan searched Fuentesluna at the scene and placed her in the patrol car. Kanan later told the other officers that she and Fuentesluna had attended the same high school. Officer Bonnano took Fuentesluna to the police station, where officers read her a statement. She refused a breath test. She was released to a sober adult while awaiting her court date, and the adult signed a waiver form. Fuentesluna received tickets for DUI, refusing a breath test, reckless driving, driving without insurance, having an open container, and driving on a permit after 11:01 p.m. If you enjoyed this BodyCamBust video.
