SWAT surrounded the apartment complex and made telephonic contact with the individual, 39-year-old Zeff Rocco, and ordered him to surrender. Shortly after, Rocco climbed over the third-story balcony of the apartment, armed with an assault rifle, and jumped to the ground. Rocco dropped the rifle as he struck the ground and immediately began to reach for it. As Rocco reacquired a grip on the rifle, an Officer-Involved Shooting occurred. Rocco was struck by gunfire and was taken into custody. Los Angeles Fire Department personnel who were at the scene transported Rocco to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. No officers or other community members were injured during this incident. The rifle Rocco was armed with was recovered at the scene and was determined to be a 5.56 caliber semiautomatic pistol. The rifle was loaded with 39 rounds, and had an additional loaded magazine secured to the weapon. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Special thanks to Shout-Out Supporters on Patreon: - 'DIY Solar Power with Will Prowse' - 'Mr. Unknown' - Katie Eberl - 'iqtester.org' - 'Skydog' - Jesse Andrus - Tyler Urban - Ádám Lampért - Josef Rex - Sabrina Bewey - Kelly Goodwin - Anthony Martinez - 'wuzy' - Shane AL Walker - 'Jun' - 'Xenik' - 'Rom' - kyle McBurnett - 'Fishy Tuna' - 'GotsNoGroove Cheryl' - 'CombatKid' - Exus Altimus - Mateusz Adam Katana - 'Dawesenm' - Paul Rohrbaugh - Sandra McGreevy - 'Krazy KZ' - Koby Bland - Christopher Payne - Zach Williams - Michael R Sheffield - Rich Biggs - 'JTrip' - Brant Eaton - 'wvot' - James Pringle - 'AccuShoot.com' - Meighan Garrick - 'Sopaul' - Lisa Overly - Connor Davies - 'Necko' - Gerardo Flores - Anthony Eufemio - 'Donkbot' - Gage Kissinger - 'coco Coco' ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Support us on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/PoliceActivity Follow us on Twitter: https://twitter.com/Police_Activity - Links to the Best Dash Cams you can buy.
