Upon confrontation by authorities, she resisted arrest and had to be restrained with handcuffs. The Starbucks staff corroborated the disturbance and provided receipts for the items she tried to take unlawfully, amounting to $13.84. Refusing to provide complete identification, she displayed signs of being under the influence of substances or experiencing a mental health crisis. The situation escalated when she attempted to flee, leading to an officer having to deploy a taser to regain control and bring her back into custody. Despite her disruptive behavior, she persistently refused to cooperate with law enforcement. As a result, she was charged with the following offenses: 1 Count of disorderly conduct in a licensed establishment. 1 Count of Theft (Shoplifting) 3 Counts of Resisting an officer without violence.
