The officer made contact as the group was returning to their vehicle. According to a public statement made by the department, the group had a total of 1,255 hardshell clams, over 10 times the legal limit for 4 individuals. We did not receive the previously requested incident report but found local news reports that all 4 individuals were charged with collecting more than the limit of hardshell clams, failing to fill in clam holes, and possession of undersized clams. One was also cited for clamming without a license. If you like this video and want to see more like it, Subscribe to Arrest Cam.
