A beach altercation leads to an on-scene identification, quickly escalating a verbal report into a full-scale police response. Responding to a report of a fight no longer in progress, officers made contact with an alleged victim on a busy public beach. The woman, wearing a red, white, and beige patterned bikini, described being approached and physically assaulted by another woman over a past relationship, displaying visible scratch marks on her back. When an officer confirmed observing something, the victim immediately pointed out the alleged assailant, stating "They're inside. They're right here," indicating the suspect's nearby presence. This direct identification led to the suspect's arrest for simple assault, followed by processing at the police department and the issuance of a summons, while the victim sought a restraining order. --- Transparency through the lens of the law.
