In this police bodycam video, officers respond to what begins as a routine store call involving a woman who was asked multiple times to leave the premises. Officers attempt to de-escalate the situation through calm communication and clear instructions, explaining the request from store staff and offering the subject an opportunity to leave voluntarily. Despite repeated commands and warnings, the situation quickly escalates when the woman refuses to comply and becomes physically resistant. Officers clearly announce the arrest and warn that force will be used if non-compliance continues. During the struggle, the suspect actively resists, stomps on an officer’s foot, and bites an officer’s finger, forcing officers to transition from verbal control to physical restraint to protect themselves and others. Throughout the encounter, officers work together to safely gain control and ensure the suspect is monitored after being restrained. Bodycam footage captures the rapid shift from routine call to high-risk arrest, highlighting how quickly officers must adapt when compliance turns into aggression. The woman was later identified as Latonya Evans, a 49-year-old female from Fairfield, California. She was charged with battery on a peace officer, trespassing, and resisting arrest. Officers also discovered multiple outstanding warrants. She was booked into the Solano County Justice Center Detention Facility. 👉 Subscribe for more real police bodycam footage, arrests, and criminal investigations. ℹ️ Chapters: 0:00 Intro 0:16 Contact With Shoplifter 1:35 Resisting Arrest 1:52 Takedown 4:18 Escort Out of Store 6:00 Suspect in Custody 7:03 Identifying Suspect 10:01 Mugshot & Arrest Info 10:25 Bodycam Breakdown Disclaimer: This video contains footage of a real-life incident.
