Bodycam footage shows a chaotic scene involving Vanessa Castrejon, a business executive, at a police station. The incident began during a traffic stop in November 2023, when Castrejon was pulled over for making an improper turn. During the stop, Castrejon, who appeared to be intoxicated, made several inappropriate remarks, including calling the officer "hot" and suggesting she was pulled over because she is "Latina." As the situation escalated, Castrejon flashed a wad of cash, claiming she was a businesswoman and asking the officer, "Do you know how much I earn a year?" She also directed racial slurs at her white boyfriend, calling him a "white piece of s**t." Castrejon was arrested on suspicion of DUI – Alcohol. While being transported, she became increasingly unruly, kicking and spitting at officers. In the back of the police car, she was warned to calm down or face additional charges if she damaged anything. At one point, she repeatedly told the officers it would be better if they "kill her right now." Upon arriving at the station, Castrejon demanded to be searched by a female officer, despite being told there were none available. After being searched, she took off her shirt in the middle of the station and made a scene about using the bathroom. When the officer tried to close the bathroom door, she stopped him and insisted she would rather "piss herself" right there. Back in the station, she was handcuffed again but struggled to put her shirt back on, ultimately requiring assistance. After more erratic behavior, she finally sat down, still visibly agitated. Castrejon faces multiple charges, including Improper Turn, Felony Aggravated Battery to a Peace Officer, and Resisting a Peace Officer. It's currently unclear if she has entered a plea or if a court date has been set.
