During the initial contact the officer detected an odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. The officer instructed the suspect to exit the vehicle for a probable cause search. After over four minutes of the suspect refusing to exit, the suspect admitted to the officer that he had a firearm in the vehicle. When the officer tried to remove the suspect from the vehicle, the suspect drove away. This resulted in the officer being dragged by the suspect’s vehicle. 57-year-old Patrolman James Cervik, a 31-year veteran of the Solon Police Department, was treated and released at a local hospital for minor injuries. Another officer spotted the suspect’s vehicle as it exited onto Harper Road southbound. The officer initiated a brief pursuit, but terminated for safety reasons as the suspect’s vehicle exceeded 100 MPH as it continued south onto Cochran Road. Arrest warrants were issued for 27-year-old Termaine Tyrone Jackson, of Twinsburg, for charges of Assault on a Peace Officer, Obstructing Official Business, and Fleeing and Eluding. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Special thanks to Shout-Out Supporters on Patreon: - Lee Roberts - Jerry Allison - Marc H - Brant Eaton - 'General X' - 'jadeennff' - Armando Renteria - Scott Moody - James Pringle - 'AccuShoot.com' - 'Savage Training Group' - Brandi Summers - Meighan Garrick - Michele Duckson - 'BoJassim' - 'Sopaul' - Michael Mortimer - Lisa Overly - Connor Davies - Paul Rohrbaugh - Nash Martin - 'Necko' - Gerardo Flores - Richard Vannieuwenhuyse - 'DIY Solar Power with Will Prowse' - 'Roman1983' - Anthony Eufemio - 'Donkbot' - Gage Kissinger - Alex F - Eian Smith - 'HelloDarknessMyOldFriend' - 'coco Coco' - 'The Chocolate Thief' - Joe ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Support us at BuyMeACoffee: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/PoliceActivity Support us on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/PoliceActivity Follow us on Twitter: https://twitter.com/Police_Activity 🛍️ Check out our Amazon store: https://www.amazon.com/shop/PoliceActivity 🛍️ Disclosure: Please note that we will receive a small commission from purchases made through our Amazon store.
