🚨 Watch the shocking bodycam footage of a shoplifting suspect biting a police officer during a violent arrest in Fairfield, California. On March 30, Fairfield police responded to a retail store on Cadenasso Drive for reports of a suspected shoplifter refusing to leave. The suspect, 49-year-old Latonya Evans, refused to comply with verbal commands and physically resisted when officers tried to take her into custody. During the struggle, Evans stomped on an officer’s foot and bit his finger, escalating the incident into a felony assault — all captured on bodycam. Evans also had several outstanding bench warrants, including one for first-degree burglary and failure to appear on a felony charge. She remains in Solano County Jail on $47,500 bail for the assault charge and $20,000 bail for the warrants. This case is a reminder of how a simple shoplifting call can turn dangerous in seconds — and why police encounters can be so unpredictable. 🎥 Watch the full bodycam footage and see the incident unfold. 🔔 Subscribe to Body Cam Stories for more real-life police encounters and raw bodycam footage. #Bodycam #ShopliftingArrest #FairfieldPolice #LatonyaEvans #PoliceBodycam #AssaultOnOfficer #ViralArrest #BodyCamStories #ShopliftingFails
