He worked with the Monmouth County DWI Strike Force. His post was at Route 35 North, number 75. A white Jeep approached slowly. Officer Van Schaack signaled the driver to halt. He asked for her license and registration. The driver was Vanessa Reiser. Officer Van Schaack noticed things as he spoke to her. Her eyes were bloodshot and watery. Her eyelids seemed heavy. He also smelled alcohol on her breath. Vanessa said she was coming from a friend's house. She admitted to having "two drinks." Officer Van Schaack thought Vanessa seemed impaired. He asked her to say the alphabet from “D” to “T”. Vanessa began at “E” and mumbled near the end. Van Schaack then told Vanessa to go to the side parking lot for more tests. He asked again where she had been. She said she was coming from Red Bank. Vanessa also said she had two drinks earlier. This matched what she told the officer before. Vanessa was suspected of driving while impaired. Officers asked her to do field sobriety tests. The first was the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus (HGN) test. Officer Van Schaack watched her eyes. He saw they did not move smoothly. Her eyes jerked at the extreme and before 45 degrees. He saw no vertical eye jerking. Next, she did the Walk and Turn test. Vanessa did not walk heel-to-toe. She also turned the wrong way. Finally, she tried the One Leg Stand test. She did not lift her foot right. She put her foot down too early. Patrolman Paris noticed signs of trouble. Vanessa smelled of alcohol and admitted to drinking before driving. She also struggled with sobriety tests. Paris arrested her for driving under the influence. Sergeant Mayer, from the Sheriff’s Office, searched Vanessa after handcuffing her. Her car was impounded under John’s Law for 12 hours. Then, officers took her to the Middletown Township Police Department. There, they would process her further. Vanessa faced the Middletown Township Police. Officers read her the Motor Vehicle Standard Statement. She asked for a lawyer twice. This was marked as a refusal. Paperwork done, Vanessa was released to a sober adult. He signed the Potential Liability Warning Form. She received four summonses. These included: operating under the influence, breath sample consent refusal, reckless driving, and no driver insurance card. Teresa Giudice of RHONJ is now married to Luis Ruelas. But before Teresa, there was Vanessa. As of October 3, 2024, Vanessa remains Luis Ruelas's ex-fiancee. Her case is still awaiting a court date. 7:54 I think I just saw Pat from SNL If you enjoyed this BodyCamBust video.
