On February 21, 2024, law enforcement officers responded to a local park following reports of an indecent exposure involving a 16-year-old female victim. While skating, the juvenile had approached an individual to ask for directions to a bridge; however, when she returned from the area, the man approached her with his sexual organs exposed outside of his clothing and asked if she "wanted to have some fun". The victim captured video of the encounter and observed the man walk toward a white cargo van, where officers later located a suspect matching the description of a red shirt and gray pants. Upon being questioned, the individual claimed he had been sun-bathing nude in the park and believed he was fully clothed during the interaction. Based on the victim's statement and the video evidence, the individual was arrested and charged with felony exposure of sexual organs and solicitation of lewd acts.
