Officers in Washington, Illinois were called to a scene after a vehicle was found driving on a rim — no tire — leaving debris scattered across the road at nearly 3 AM. When they located the vehicle, police were met by a woman and her husband. The woman blew a 0.172 on the preliminary breath test. She told officers she'd had two drinks. What made this stop unusual wasn't the DUI. It was her husband — who stepped out of the passenger seat and immediately started arguing with police, maintaining an aggressive attitude throughout most of the encounter. She was charged with DUI and unsafe equipment in Washington, Illinois on October 12, 2025. She later refused the Intoximeter at the station.
