Bodycam traffic stop turns into a DUI refusal spiral: translator demands, 911 threats, and an arrest. An officer stops a driver for speeding (75 in a lower zone). She immediately jumps into weird relationship talk about her boyfriend while the officer tries to keep the stop on track. Once she’s out of the car, she admits she had two drinks. When the officer starts basic sobriety checks, she suddenly insists she needs someone who speaks Spanish and claims she only understands “maybe 50%.” She then says she’s freezing, keeps showing her shaking hands, and escalates to saying she’s going to call 911 and needs help. After repeated refusals, officers give her one last choice: do the test in English or wait for the Spanish-speaking officer. She refuses again, and the situation turns into an arrest. She screams about her “$2,000 hair,” demands cameras, and later keeps hitting the squad car door while officers tell her to stop. According to the report recapped in the video, she was arrested for driving under the influence after refusing testing, along with additional traffic and obstruction-related charges. All suspects are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
