A school altercation over alleged infidelity escalates to an arrest, captured by bodycam, revealing intense emotional reactions during processing. The incident began at Central Regional High School when two adult students were observed in an argument in the parking lot, triggered by one student's accusation of infidelity. The female student was seen yelling at the other individual, throwing a phone, and striking him multiple times in the back of the head. Despite her claims of self-defense, surveillance footage reviewed by officers showed her initiating the physical altercation, with no corroborating evidence for her assertion of hair-pulling. Officers intervened, separated the individuals, and, after determining it was a domestic case and reviewing the evidence, placed the female student under arrest for simple assault. She was informed of the charges and transported for processing, where she exhibited extreme emotional distress, hyperventilating, and repeatedly denying wrongdoing. The other individual declined to press charges or pursue a restraining order, but the arrest proceeded due to the domestic nature of the incident.
