This bodycam footage captures the initial police questioning of 53-year-old Kim S. Parisi, which took place outside The Elm restaurant following a disturbance call. The clip shows a La Grange police officer attempting to investigate the situation by asking about her alcohol consumption, only to be met with claims of confusion and ignorance. The video begins with the officer trying to establish a baseline for the group's behavior. "Because you guys were together, so you guys are both partying," he states, before asking the direct question: "How many drinks have you had tonight?" This standard investigative question is immediately met with deflection from Parisi. "What's happening?" she asks, feigning ignorance. "I don't, I don't even know what's happening... I'm a little, I'm a little, I don't even know what happened." This claim of confusion, captured on bodycam, is a common tactic used by individuals to avoid answering direct questions. The officer then moves to the next procedural step, asking, "Do you guys have your IDs on you?" in an attempt to formally identify the subjects of his investigation. This questioning occurred on March 22, 2025, during the preliminary investigation into an incident where Parisi allegedly assaulted the restaurant manager and, later, a police officer. This seemingly routine interaction was the prelude to her eventual arrest for the felony charge of Aggravated Battery of a Peace Officer. This video is a compelling look at the subtle start of a police investigation, showing how officers methodically gather facts from individuals who may be attempting to feign ignorance. #policebodycam #bodycam #policequestioning #lawenforcement
