On July 6, 2024, Pullman Police Officers were dispatched to Walmart, where loss prevention agents were detaining a female shoplifter. The 22-year-old woman was accused of stealing $44.63 worth of items while her uncle was shopping. When Officer Padrta enters the loss prevention office, he calls the woman by first name and alludes to her many previous shoplifting arrests. She was eventually arrested again, given a lifetime ban from Walmart, and was transported to the Whitman County Jail in Colfax, WA. Her charges and the outcome of her case are discussed at the end of the video.
