Arkansas State Police dashcam footage captures a dangerous high-speed pursuit involving a black Toyota 4Runner through the streets of Malvern, Arkansas. On May 14, 2026, troopers were alerted after the Malvern Police Department attempted to stop the 4Runner before their patrol vehicle became damaged during the chase. A short time later, an Arkansas State Police trooper located the suspect vehicle traveling on Highway 9. When troopers attempted a traffic stop, the driver accelerated to speeds exceeding 100 MPH in a 35 MPH zone, passing vehicles in no-passing zones and driving recklessly through residential neighborhoods. Authorities say the pursuit continued onto Georgia Street and East Highland Street, where the suspect allegedly ran a stop sign and crossed into oncoming traffic. Due to the immediate danger to the public, troopers performed an Intentional Intervention Technique to stop the vehicle. After the maneuver, the Toyota 4Runner crashed into two parked vehicles and rolled onto its side.
