In today’s video, a sovereign citizen talks himself into SERIOUS trouble in court with a judge after turning a basic hearing into a nonstop argument about jurisdiction. From the jump, he throws out made up legal codes like 912E jurisdiction and 922E jurisdiction, claims the court is a corporate court, and insists the judge should “look it up” while he talks over everyone in the room. This case quickly goes sideways when the judge tries to handle simple court procedure like appointing counsel, setting a bond, and scheduling the next hearing. Instead of focusing on the charges, the defendant interrupts repeatedly, name drops the Department of Justice, brings up Maryland v Brady, and acts like confusion equals victory. But the more he argues, the clearer it becomes that he is not helping himself — he is creating a record that can be used against him. When the courtroom realizes communication has completely broken down, things escalate fast. The judge allows counsel to withdraw, warns the defendant about respecting the court, and ultimately moves toward ordering a competency evaluation to determine whether he can meaningfully participate in his own defense.
