On September 20, 2024, in Solano County a Highway Patrolman attempted to stop a Subaru on Interstate 80 in Fairfield California the Subaru was traveling at 85 mph in the posted 65 mph zone. The driver of the Subaru refused to stop and attempted to elude the officers until just east of the Davis Road overpass were officers successfully utilized a spike strip on the car. Shortly after the spike strip flattened the tire the driver exited the Interstate on the Cliffside Drive offramp and pulled over and was taken into custody without further incident. The Driver Jazlyn A.
