Earlier this summer a PCSO deputy was frantically waved down by a man on the side of the street. His co-worker was overdosing and had stopped breathing. Our deputy acted swiftly, administering two doses of Narcan and performing CPR until the patient came back from edge of death. Our deputies were assisted by good Samaritans from a local urgent care and our partners at Rural Metro Fire. If you know a loved one is struggling with opioid addiction, be prepared. Free Narcan kits are available at all Pinal County Public Health Clinics. And do not hesitate to call 9-11 if you see someone overdosing. In medical emergencies, PCSO deputies are worried about saving lives... not filing charges. Want to save lives too? APPLY NOW! The Pinal County Sheriff's Office is hiring Detention Officers, Deputies, Dispatchers and more! Visit: PCSOCareers.com Questions? Email: JoinPCSO@pinal.gov
