#news #crime #police Deputies responded to a business disturbance with a suspect who wandered into a restricted employee area and refused to leave. Ignored lawful commands. Hands in pockets. Would not comply. Then he pulled a handgun and pointed it at deputies. At that moment, the situation stopped being a conversation and became a deadly force encounter. Deputies did exactly what they are trained to do. They engaged the threat. The suspect was struck. Immediately after, deputies rendered medical aid until fire rescue arrived. Suspect transported to the hospital. No deputies injured. No civilians injured.
