On July 10, 2025, police in West Chicago, Illinois, rushed to a local business where an owner reported a disgruntled employee was holding her and her husband at gunpoint over a payroll dispute. Upon arriving, officers found 23-year-old Imani Dickson livestreaming the armed altercation with the two owners that she herself perpetrated. She surrendered her firearm, and the pregnant owner was transported to a local hospital. Nevertheless, Miss Nickson was unconvinced she had acted illegally, or even unprofessionally.
