On September 1, 2024, University of Central Florida Police Officers Carbone and Temperato, driving an unmarked police vehicle, observed the driver of a white Mercedes commit several traffic violations. They initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and made contact with the 34-year-old driver. They immediately suspected the woman was under the influence, so they called Officer Sanchez to the scene to conduct standardized field sobriety tests. The woman immediately admitted to consuming 5 Heinekens (which was later increased to "5 to 6") and she stated that if she was given a breathalyzer test, she would not pass it. At the conclusion of the FSTs, she was arrested for DUI and taken to the Orange County DUI Testing Center. The police report indicates she submitted to an evidential breath test. The results and a breakdown of her charges are discussed at the end of the video. All suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
