On 04/11/2025 at 5:45 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Burlington Coat Factory located at 31 Mill Creek Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 47-year-old female, Tobay Rocio of College Point, NY and a 35-year-old male, Giovanni Yancha-Chango of Union City, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)] and Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)]. Yancha-Chango was also charged with Using an Anti-Shoplifting Device [2C:20-11F] and was found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Washington Township, NJ with no bail. Washington Township did release Mr. Yancha-Chango on his own recognizance pending a future court date, since he already satisfied that warrant. Both Ms. Rocio and Mr. Yancha-Chango were issued their complaint summonses and were released from police custody. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty
