On Sunday, May 4, 2025, an officer with a local police department initiated a traffic stop on a black sedan after observing the vehicle go left of center to pass two other vehicles. The driver, a 26-year-old woman, became agitated when asked for her license and insurance, stating she possessed neither. Upon being ordered to exit the vehicle, the driver physically resisted the officer's attempt to place her under arrest, resulting in a "Use of Force" incident to take her into custody. The suspect was subsequently secured in a WRAP restraint device and transported to the local county jail. She was charged with Resisting Arrest (causing physical harm to a law enforcement officer), Obstructing Official Business, driving with a suspended license, and additional traffic offenses including an expired license plate.
