On officer-worn body camera video, Sgt. Bordin can be seen breaking the front passenger side window of the SUV. The dog can be heard crying inside. The temperature inside the vehicle was significantly higher, and it appeared the dog had been left alone for quite some time. The poor girl downed a liter of water before being taken for a checkup. The dog's owner was located, however, the dog remains in the custody of animal services while the investigation continues. Florida is among 11 states that allow law enforcement or bystanders to forcibly enter a vehicle to rescue a pet in danger of overheating. According to statute 768.139, those who damage a vehicle in the pursuit of removing a vulnerable animal from dangerous conditions are immune from civil liability. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Special thanks to Shout-Out Supporters on Patreon: - 'DIY Solar Power with Will Prowse' - Jerry Sonnal - 'Brantheman455' - 'Brother.Legal' - Zak Bennett - Jeff Short - 'walleye truth2power' - Spencer Scott - RayJayOB - Sean Sheldon - Marvin Tobar - Lee Roberts - 'Mr. Unknown' - 'iqtester.org' - 'Skydog' - jaden - Jesse - Sabrina Bewey - Kelly Goodwin - 'Jun' - 'Xenik' - 'Rom' - kyle McBurnett - 'Fishy Tuna' - 'GotsNoGroove Cheryl' - 'CombatKid' - Exus Altimus - 'Dawesenm' - Paul Rohrbaugh - 'Krazy KZ' - Koby Bland - Christopher Payne - Zach Williams - Michael R Sheffield - Rich Biggs - 'JTrip' - Brant Eaton - James Pringle - 'AccuShoot.com' - 'Sopaul' - Lisa Overly - Connor Davies - 'Necko' - Gerardo Flores - Anthony Eufemio - 'Donkbot' - Gage Kissinger - 'coco Coco' ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Support us on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/PoliceActivity Follow us on X: https://x.com/Police_Activity - Links to the Best Dash Cams you can buy.
