Metro Nashville Police said the evidence was “overwhelming”: video, photographs, text messages and an admission. Former MNPD officer Lisa Vidrios admitted to serious departmental violations involving sexual activity while on duty with another officer—including inside police vehicles and her school resource officer office at Madison Middle School while children were in the building. Vidrios accepted a 30-day suspension and resigned. But the unnamed officer—an 18-year MNPD veteran—was never interviewed by the Office of Professional Accountability. He was reportedly on medical leave before receiving a medical pension. According to the internal report, investigators will question him if he ever returns to active duty. The report does not allege that his injury or pension was fraudulent.
