On a calm evening in Crystal Lake, Illinois, deputies stopped 18-year-old Ellie Masukevich after multiple calls reported her reckless driving. What should have been a simple DUI traffic stop quickly escalated into one of the wildest confrontations ever caught on police bodycam. The footage shows Ellie refusing commands, shouting at deputies, and resisting every attempt to de-escalate. When officers tried to arrest her, she fought back, screamed profanities, and even spit at them. Deputies eventually had to use “The Wrap,” a specialized restraint device, to gain control of the situation. But the chaos didn’t end there. A search of Ellie’s car revealed a half-empty bottle of vodka and a glass pipe — evidence that explained her behavior and added even more charges to the case. Even after being transported to jail, Ellie continued her dramatic outbursts, attempting to argue her way out while deputies prepared her booking. This bodycam footage breaks down the full arrest — from the moment deputies approached her vehicle to the shocking discoveries that followed. With charges including DUI, aggravated battery on officers, resisting arrest, and underage liquor possession, Ellie’s case became one of the most talked-about DUI arrests in Illinois. 👉 Watch until the end to see every intense moment of this viral bodycam case. 🔍 What you’ll see: 0:25 – Deputies stop teen after reckless driving reports 0:43 – Initial questioning gets complicated 1:03 – Search of Ellie’s car sparks “constitutional” drama 2:19 – Deputies announce arrest 3:07 – Parking lot confrontation escalates 3:52 – Struggle to guide Ellie into patrol car 4:52 – Teen refuses to calm down 5:10 – Ellie fires off more demands 6:01 – Still ignoring deputies’ warnings 6:26 – Deputies prepare “The Wrap” restraint 6:56 – Pulled from patrol car & restrained 7:05 – Deputies hold Ellie down 8:11 – Ellie spits at deputies 8:25 – Tantrum continues in patrol car 10:02 – Ellie questions deputies mid-arrest 10:37 – Vodka discovery explains a lot 12:26 – Ellie shouts “I F**king HATE COPS!” 12:35 – Half-empty vodka bottle & glass pipe found 12:56 – Removed from wrap at the jail 13:41 – Escorted to holding cell 13:59 – Ellie tries to sweet-talk deputies 15:11 – Screams “I CAN’T BE HERE TONIGHT” 15:30 – Charges: DUI, battery, resisting, & more 16:36 – Case pending, not over yet… stay tuned ⚖️ Disclaimer: All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
