Around 10:48 PM, Deputy Welch responded to reports of a vehicle driving on the wrong side of the road. When the Deputy pulls over the swerving car, he comes face-to-face with an intoxicated 19-year-old girl who claims she is just heading home from the beach. With open alcohol containers in plain sight, the drunk suspect completely bombs her field sobriety exercises. The reckless driver is promptly arrested but escalates the situation by boldly slipping out of her handcuffs twice in the back of the patrol cruiser. After eventually blowing over double the legal limit, what started as a careless beach day ends in handcuffs, serious DUI charges, and instant regret—caught entirely on camera.
