On May 25th, 2024. Deputies from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department were dispatched to a campground for the report of several individuals that were fighting at the lodge area. Upon arrival at the scene, deputies made contact with several individuals that were at the lodge, underneath the gazebo. An individual stated that there were several fights that had been taking place, all at one time, and so they stopped playing music and shut down, due to the amount of fights that were occurring and the number of people that were involved in fights. An intoxicated female (Tammy) approached a deputy to tell him that she had been part of the fight and that she was claiming to be a victim. Tammy explained that her sister had passed away over a year ago and her sister’s husband (Arthur) was at the campground. Tammy said that Arthur didn’t like her and her family and that he came up to her and grabbed her by the hair, threw her down on the ground and then kicked her. Tammy said that her boyfriend then grabbed a hold of Arthur to keep him from hitting her and that’s when Arthur took his 5 year old grandson and left back to his trailer. Deputies went to go speak with Arthur to hear his side of the story. Arthur said that Tammy made a statement about her deceased sister and then he told Tammy to get away from him. Arthur said he picked up his 5 year old grandson and out of the corner of his eye, he saw Tammy coming towards him. Arthur said he grabbed Tammy by the hair then threw her on the ground. Arthur and Tammy were both cited for Disorderly Conduct, a $232 citation. This video is for educational purposes only.
