What happens when an aspiring police officer forgets the very laws she hopes to enforce? On June 11th, Diana Noriega was pulled over in Hoboken, NJ, after committing multiple traffic violations. What started as a routine stop quickly turned into a career-ending mistake. In this bodycam footage, you’ll see the moment Officer Rutkowski makes contact with a driver who reeks of alcohol. Despite admitting to drinking Sangria and begging the officers to let her go for the sake of her future career in law enforcement, she fails every Field Sobriety Test (SFST). What do you think? Should someone aspiring to be in law enforcement be given a second chance, or is this an immediate disqualification?
