***Here's the link for the Arkansas State Police footage that I posted awhile back: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qwXapUHV9ao&t=32s*** Officers were patrolling in the area of 5100 Mabelvale Pike, when they observed a White Nissan, which was reported stolen. Officers initiated a traffic stop and the vehicle refused to stop and continued to drive at slow speeds. When they approached South University Avenue, the passenger door opened and it appeared as if the passenger was attempting to exit the vehicle, while it was moving. The vehicle continued onto Asher Avenue and the passenger was still attempting to exit the vehicle and his feet were being dragged. The vehicle slowed in front of the Pulaski County Jail and the passenger jumped out of the moving vehicle. Officers stopped and made contact with the passenger and requested medical attention. The vehicle was eventually blocked in by Arkansas State Troopers on Interstate 440. The driver was identified as Da'Veon Spring. Da'Veon Spring was charged with Theft of Property and Felony Fleeing. The passenger was released without charges after speaking with Detectives.
