Knox County deputies find themselves in a high-speed pursuit with a fleeing pickup truck going over 100 miles per hour. Deputies deploy spike strips near the county line and successfully flatten one of the truck’s tires as pursuing units close in. Seven of the occupants immediately exit the vehicle and flee into a wooded area, prompting an all-out search on foot. One passenger, a juvenile female, stayed by the truck. Deputies track down all seven of the suspects with the help of a K-9 officer. The driver was charged with felony evading and resisting arrest, while six passengers were given the latter charge.
