Step inside the world of real-world policing through unfiltered body-worn camera footage. At Bodycam Hub, we break down the law as it unfolds in the moments that matter — and in this case, a police chase that escalates into a terrifying public safety incident involving a firearm and children. In this episode, officers in Fort Lauderdale pursue a suspect later identified as Freddy Myrick, who flees on foot after an attempted police encounter. During the chase, Myrick runs directly through a children’s birthday party and throws a loaded firearm into the crowd in an attempt to discard evidence. The reckless act creates an extreme danger to everyone present, especially the children. Officers quickly apprehend Myrick and uncover his extensive criminal history involving firearms and drugs, raising serious questions about public safety and accountability — all captured on bodycam. Our videos turn raw police encounters into clear, compelling stories by adding context, legal insight, and narration. This breakdown examines how fleeing police, illegal firearm possession, and reckless decision-making can place innocent lives at risk — and how law enforcement responds when seconds matter. We follow strict fair-use guidelines through commentary, editing, and analysis — and whenever possible, we partner with law enforcement agencies to bring you accurate, authentic, and unfiltered footage. If you want real cases, real lessons, and real accountability — this is your hub. Inspired by channels like CodeBlueCam and Police Insider, Bodycam Hub delivers a deeper, clearer look into real police encounters — giving you an inside understanding of law enforcement and the justice system like never before. 00:05 Police chase begins in Fort Lauderdale 03:09 Gun thrown during pursuit 05:35 Officers explain severity of the situation 07:58 Gun lands in children’s party
