At 10:30 in the morning in Youngstown, Ohio, police were called to a West Federal Street restaurant after a woman walked in before they even opened — demanding food and drinks despite already owing $71 from a previous unpaid tab. The bill included four beers, two Cokes, fried mushrooms, two mixed drinks, a dessert, and a sausage sandwich — all unpaid. When officers arrived and offered her a ride to a nearby soup kitchen as a way out — she responded by spitting directly in an officer's face. What started as a trespass call ended with a felony arrest. Gail Randolph, 55, was charged with: - Assault — 4th degree felony (spitting on a police officer) - Criminal Trespass — misdemeanor (returning to a restaurant she was already banned from) She was booked into Mahoning County Jail and arraigned in municipal court. All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
