On March 27, 2026, at approximately 10:06 A.M., an Arkansas State Trooper attempted a traffic stop on a blue Kia displaying temporary tags for a window tint violation near Interstate 555. Instead of stopping, the driver fled—initiating a dangerous high-speed pursuit through Jonesboro streets. The suspect drove recklessly at speeds exceeding 120 MPH, weaving through traffic, running red lights, and even crossing into oncoming lanes. The pursuit ended on Glitterman Drive when the driver abandoned the vehicle and ran into a nearby residence before fleeing through multiple backyards, jumping fences in an attempt to escape. Troopers quickly set up a perimeter and apprehended the suspect after a foot pursuit. Authorities later identified the driver as Raheem T. Garry. During the investigation, officers recovered two handguns connected to the suspect, along with suspected marijuana.
