On June 18, 2023, a deputy patrolling a closed-off private property found a woman parked in her pickup where no one was allowed. When he told her to leave, she said she was a government official, that her business there was "a matter of national security," and demanded his name, badge number and his highest-ranking officer. To the corporal who arrived next, she explained that her company holds Q-level clearance "extended to the President of the United States of America," and that she reports to seven different agencies of government – but she had no identification for any of it. She asked deputies to call the Hot Springs Police Department, then the Phoenix FBI field office. The corporal already knew her: "You were gonna have me fired months ago." After reading the criminal impersonation statute to his supervisor, he told her she was under arrest. "Criminal impersonation of what?" While her truck was searched and towed – a cab full of trash, a Yoo-hoo, "a bunch of rocks," and a shotgun her friend told them about – her friend stayed behind with the dogs. At the jail, the corporal found she had slipped her handcuffs to the front and warned her she could be charged with escape. She was arrested on a charge of criminal impersonation in the second degree, a misdemeanor, as stated on camera.
