In July 2025, Broward County Sheriff's deputies were called to an Allegiant Flight at Fort Lauderdale-International Airport after a passenger’s behavior forced the pilot to abort takeoff and return to the gate. Elizabeth Nuroth, a 52-year-old traveler from Peru, was reportedly intoxicated and causing a disturbance with her family and other passengers. While deputies initially gave her a chance to walk away without charges, her decision to try and push past them to re-board the aircraft quickly turned a bad situation into an arrest. Watch as the situation escalates from a plane delay to a full "find out" moment on the jet bridge.
