On December 21, 2024, at 2005 hours, officers were dispatched to a location regarding a female causing a disturbance. Two separate parties had called 911 about the situation. Upon arrival, the officers could hear a woman yelling profanities. As they approached, they observed an adult female sitting on the curb with several open alcohol containers within reach. Police spoke with one of the reporting parties, who stated he had seen her lying in the road and had to steer around her due to concerns for his safety. The individual then crawled under cars, yelling in people's faces. When he indicated he would call the police, she responded with hostility, stating that the police could "all die" and expressing disdain for law enforcement. At that point, the reporting party decided to call the police. Based on the woman's offensive behavior and the reporting party's concerns, she was placed under arrest. A search of her bag revealed no signs of alcohol impairment, weapons, or contraband. She was issued a trespass warning for the area and was transported to the local sheriff's office. During a search at the facility, a substance believed to be marijuana was found in her sock, weighing 0.5 grams.
