On June 23, 2025, around 10:14 p.m., officers responded to a disturbance involving a couple in an apartment. The female stated that an argument escalated after her fiancé verbally insulted her and locked himself in the bathroom, where she heard him calling out another woman’s name. She admitted to forcing the door open and throwing a speaker into the tub. According to her, he then grabbed her by the neck and shoved her into the bushes outside—twice—leaving visible bruises and scratches. The male acknowledged pushing her but claimed it was because she tried to access his vehicle. He refused to leave the apartment at first and made crude remarks before eventually walking off on foot. Later that night, while an officer was still on scene completing the report, the male returned—this time on a scooter. When approached, he made nonsensical statements and grew increasingly hostile. As officers attempted to take him into custody, he resisted with force, requiring multiple officers to bring him under control. During the search, he moved his body inappropriately toward one of the officers and later reached for their neck.
