As a part of the Milwaukee Police Department's Keep MKE's Streets Safe initiative every week for the next two months, MPD will feature a driver who has been arrested, charged, convicted and sentenced for felony reckless driving and/or fleeing. #KeepMKEStreetsSafe This week we are featuring Shanice Nicole Collins. She was recently sentenced to 11 years in prison and 6 years extended supervision for multiple counts of armed robbery, 1 count of attempted armed robbery and 1 count of fleeing from police. In 2018, Ms. Collins was wanted in connection with multiple armed robberies. On December 18, 2018, MPD officers pulled over a vehicle in which Ms. Collins was riding in the passenger's seat. While police were placing the driver into custody, Ms. Collins moved into the driver's seat and fled from officers. She led police on a 7-minute vehicle pursuit which ended with Ms. Collins being taken into custody by MPD officers. Watch the video for more information. Watch the video for more information.
