buymeacoffee.com/BlueLineLens On June 5, 2024, at approximately 1948 hours, officers responded to Casey's at 1001 N. Annie Glidden Rd. for a report of multiple females fighting. Upon arrival, Officer Cooper observed Sierra James and Tarisha Thompson physically engaged and separated them. Sierra James was arrested for fighting in the city. Officer Casas arrested Tarisha Thompson. Sierra's sister, Josetta James, was also arrested for obstructing a peace officer after admitting she tried to pull Tarisha's arm to prevent her from hitting Sierra. A Casey's employee, Talisha Thompson (sister to Tarisha), indicated that the fight stemmed from ongoing issues between the two sets of sisters. Attempts to obtain surveillance video from Casey's were initially unsuccessful due to staff availability. Josetta James was booked for obstructing, though this charge was later dropped due to bystander video, despite her admission. Both Sierra James and Tarisha Thompson were cited for fighting in the city. Sierra and Josetta were released, while Tarisha was released after being processed for two outstanding warrants. These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. #dekalb #fight #news
