On October 21, 2022, Charlotte County deputies pulled over a Ford sedan for a non-functioning front light. The driver was uncooperative, and the strong smell of marijuana from the vehicle caused the situation to escalate quickly. During the vehicle search, the police found in the compartment a ziplock bag with leafy contents, 20 pieces of sour apple gummies, and 4 grams of psilocybin. Luckily, the level of THC found on these items did not exceed the allowed legal THC content limit. The suspect was charged with resisting arrest, and even though they were carrying marijuana that did not exceed the legal THC limit, they still have to answer for possession since they cannot present a marijuana card during arrest. #bodycam #bodycamera #police #cops #teens #intoxication #trafficstop
