Fifth Third Bank employees recognized a woman from an alert sent by another branch as she tried to cash a $5,000 fraudulent check. Officers detained her immediately, and she admitted she had already visited another branch, knew the plan felt wrong, and feared the man who dropped her off would leave her stranded. She was arrested and charged with fraudulent possession of identifying information belonging to four or fewer people and uttering a false instrument.
