13:00 Screenshot of New Mexico Courts website 13:10 NOT TO BE MISSED Bonus Bodycam Footage On June 29, 2024, Las Cruces Police Officer Nanez located a stolen pickup truck at a self-service car wash. He waited for other units to arrive and then they attempted to block the truck in and order the occupants out of the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle had other thoughts and decided to ram several police vehicles, resulting in injury to one of the officers. A pursuit ensued that ended a few minutes later with the 44-year-old driver fleeing on foot. Both the driver and the passenger were apprehended, but the passenger was later released without charges. The driver's charges and the outcome of the case are discussed at the end of the video (before the bonus footage).
