🚨 Watch shocking police bodycam footage capturing the arrest of Alexander “Nico” Fanjul, son of Florida’s powerful sugar dynasty, after a violent domestic assault in Palm Beach. On the night of February 2, 2024, officers responded to a Bahama Lane residence after neighbors heard a woman screaming for help. When police looked through a window, they saw Fanjul on top of the woman during what appeared to be a physical struggle. According to the victim’s statement, the violence began after she and Fanjul were seated next to a same-sex couple at a restaurant. She said Fanjul became enraged, and later threw her to the ground, dragged her back inside the house, and choked her with both hands, restricting her ability to breathe. Police also found suspected cocaine in Fanjul’s wallet during the arrest. Fanjul was initially released on $180,000 bail, and later accepted a plea deal in November, receiving 4 years of probation, 200 hours of community service, and mandatory outpatient rehab with drug testing. His representatives attempted to soften the backlash over his homophobic comments by releasing a statement claiming he is focused on personal growth. 📌 All of it was captured on body-worn police cameras. 🎥 Watch the full video and decide for yourself how justice plays out when privilege and violence collide. 🔔 Subscribe to Body Cam Stories for real police interactions and uncensored arrest footage from across the U.S.
