On April 30, 2023, in Flagler County, Florida, deputies were called to a bowling alley after a report of an intoxicated woman who had gotten into a dispute with another person over something personal. When deputies moved to take her into custody, she pulled away, refused their commands, and struck a deputy in the face. She was arrested for battery on a law enforcement officer, along with assault and disorderly intoxication, and was held without bond. Reported charges: Battery on a law enforcement officer (Florida Statute 784.07), Assault (Florida Statute 784.011), and Disorderly Intoxication (Florida Statute 856.011).
