He spoke with the driver of a Jeep Wrangler, identified as Kimberly Hoadley. The Jeep had hit a parked car at what appeared to be a high speed. Hoadley's husband, a former police officer, owned the parked vehicle. Kimberly said she had not consumed alcohol earlier that night. The officers, however, smelled alcohol and saw signs of impairment. They asked her to complete field sobriety exercises. Her poor performance supported their suspicions. After considering the crash, the alcohol odor, and Kimberly's inability to complete the exercises satisfactorily, Patrolman Finucan arrested her for driving under the influence. The Jeep was impounded for a required 12-hour hold under John's Law. He then took Kimberly to the Union Beach Police Department for processing. There, officers read Kimberly the Standard Statement for Motor Vehicle Operators. She agreed to provide breath samples. Once processing ended, she was released to a sober person while awaiting her court date after the Potential Liability Warning form was signed on her behalf. Patrolman Finucan issued Kimberly four traffic citations: Operating under the influence (39:4-50) Reckless driving (39:4-96) Careless driving (39:4-97) Traffic on marked lanes (39:4-88) On December 17, 2025, Kimberly pleaded guilty to operating under the influence. She was ordered to spend 12 hours at an intoxicated driver resource center, use an ignition interlock device for three months, and pay $640 in fines. The remaining three citations were dismissed under a plea agreement. Court records show Kimberly was previously arrested for shoplifting (2C:20-11B(2)) in Neptune Township, New Jersey, on September 10, 2010. She pleaded guilty on October 14, 2010, and paid $541 in fines. Before that case, she faced another shoplifting charge (2C:20-11B(1)) in Keyport, New Jersey, on September 1, 2008. She pleaded guilty on February 18, 2009, and paid $783 in fines. If you enjoyed this BodyCamBust video.
