Imagine you are in court for a crime you committed, and you see a familiar face on the bench. It is your old friend from middle school, who is now the judge. How would you react? That’s what happened to Arthur Booth, a 49-year-old man who was arrested for burglary. He was shocked and emotional when he recognized Judge Mindy Glazer, who remembered him as a very nice kid. She expressed her sadness and hope for him to turn his life around. She sentenced him to one year in prison for burglary and fleeing from police. He served 10 months in jail and was released for good behavior. Arthur Booth turned his life around after he got out of prison. He got a job, a house, and treatment for his addiction. He also visited his classmate, Judge Mindy Glazer, and thanked her for her words of encouragement. #facts
